We are Catholic Christians non-violently working for peace and taking direct action to resist nuclear weapons and preparations for nuclear war.  Our focus was, and continues to be, at the Ministry of Defence, London, United Kingdom; but there was also a presence at Greenham Common, until the cruise nuclear missiles were removed. 

This is the continuing history of an affinity group formed in 1982.

We established a community of Christians committed to direct action and civil disobedience in response to the nuclear threat caused by the policy of nuclear deterrence and the intention to use nuclear weapons by our government.

Our focus is now the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall.

We have been arrested, charged and brought to court. We have refused to pay fines or sign a ‘bind over to keep the peace’ and our actions have resulted in numerous short prison terms.
